Taiyo Plus Discovery Holiday Fish Food – 5 Pcs (Weekend Pack) | Automatic Slow-Release Feeding Blocks For All Tropical Fishes

Each block is made of a specialized calcium-based mineral shell that slowly dissolves in aquarium water, gradually releasing nutritious food particles for your fish to eat. This "automatic" feeding method ensures your fish receive a steady supply of food over a 2–3 day period (weekend) without the risk of overfeeding or water fouling that can occur if a neighbor or friend accidentally adds too much flake food.

Key Features

• Slow-Release Technology: The block dissolves slowly over several days, releasing food only as the outer layer melts away.

• Nutritionally Balanced: Contains essential proteins and vitamins suitable for all types of tropical freshwater fish.

• Non-Clouding Formula: Designed to dissolve cleanly without turning your aquarium water murky, provided your SOBO or RS filter is running correctly.

• 5-Piece Value Pack: Includes five individual blocks, allowing you to use one for a short weekend trip or multiple for a slightly longer absence.

• Calcium-Rich Base: The mineral block also provides a small amount of beneficial calcium to the water as it dissolves.

• Simple to Use: Just drop the required number of blocks into the tank and they go to work immediately.

Ideal For

• Weekend Trips: Perfect for those 2-to-3-day getaways where you don't want to bother a pet sitter.

• All Tropical Fish: Suitable for community tanks containing Guppies, Tetras, Mollies, and even your larger Discus.

• Busy Schedules: A great "insurance policy" if you know you won't be home in time for the evening feeding.

Holiday Feeding Tip

For the best results, place the block in an area of the tank with moderate water flow, such as near the return of your WP-308H Slim Filter. The moving water helps the block dissolve at a consistent rate.

Pro Tip: Always do a small water change with your Gemicide Chlorine Remover before you leave for vacation, and test one block a week before your trip to see how your fish react to it. This ensures everything is running smoothly while you’re gone!
